Redskins over Broncos in first Monday Night Football

The Redskins bested the Broncos last night 20-17 in ABC’s first televised game of the 2004 season, giving Joe Gibbs his first win as the new coach of the Redskins.

Starting QBs Jake Plummer went 5/8 for 24 yards and Mark Brunell went 4/8 with 18.
