The Redskins bested the Broncos last night 20-17 in ABC’s first televised game of the 2004 season, giving Joe Gibbs his first win as the new coach of the Redskins.

Not all good news for the Redskins, however as starting right tackle Jon Jansen ruptured his Achilles Tendon and will likely miss the season.

Starting QBs Jake Plummer went 5/8 for 24 yards and Mark Brunell went 4/8 with 18.
