Some news briefs from August 10, 2004:
– Pearl Jam is planning to go back to the studio this winter, following their participation in the Vote For Change tour.
– Replacements lead singer Paul Westerberg has been working on songs – and plans to score – a new animated film from Sony Pictures, in addition to working on a new album set to release next month.
– An autopsy on Rick James failed to come up with a cause for his August 6 death, which officially remains due to natural causes. A public viewing will take place on August 11 from 5 to 8pm Pacific Time at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Los Angeles.
– Oak Ridge Boy William Lee Golden recently suffered a heart attack at the age of 65, and is currently recovering. InsidePULSE’s thoughts go out to him and his family.
