Zap2it reports that Smackdown drew a dismal 2.7 “Fast National” rating last night, but still managed to beat Fox and the WB. That is down from Smackdown’s “Fast National Rating” of 3.1 last week.
Bruce Smith (the retired defensive lineman and 11-time Pro Bowler, as well as the NFL’s all time sacks leader) recently complimented Brock Lesnar on the NFL Network’s “NFL Total Access” program. When show host Rich Eisen asked about Lesnar’s progress, Smith, (who was brought into Vikings camp for two days to lend a hand to defensive coordinator Ted Cottrell), said that Lesnar had a tremendous work ethic and a positive attitude and said that the rookie was willing to work hard. He also said that Lesnar not only absorbed information “like a sponge,” he was able to put what he had learned into good use. Smith concluded with saying that he was impressed with Lesnar’s attitude and that he thinks Lesnar has a bright future ahead of him.
