Rob Van Dam and Torrie Wilson called into the McDonnell/Douglas show today to hype up Torrie’s upcoming appearance and autograph signing at Van Dam’s Five Star Comics store this coming Thursday.
Joe McDonnell complimented Rob on his Heat match. He thanked him for it and said that at least he was able to help get the crowd going. he did not seem disappointed that he was not on the PPV. Van Dam then handed the phone over to Torrie and she had a very pleasant conversation with the two hosts.
Wilson not only talked about how she enjoyed meeting the fans, but she also took time to discuss her battle with bulimia. She talked about how she speaks and lectures to girls who have gone through a similar problem. Also, during the conversation, she was continually being hit on by Joe’s partner, Doug Kirkorian. Of course, it was played for laughs.
All in all, both came off looking very professional.
