Jeff Jarrett apparently fought hard to keep at least some shows in Nashville. Specifically, Jarrett lives in the area and tried to convince Carter to hold the monthly pay-per-view events exclusively in Nashville, but one source reports that she finally put her foot down and told him her decision to leave Nashville is final. There is said to be some friction between Carter and Jarrett over this move but it is nothing too serious.
Chavo Guerrero Sr. was scheduled to work the 20-man gauntlet match last week, but he contacted the company on the day of the show and made a series of excuses about why he couldn’t work the show. The office didn’t buy into his excuses, and it’s now considered doubtful that they will invite him back.
