Some results from last night’s RAW house show in Bismarck, ND. 8-20-04

Val Venis beat Chuck Palumbo with the money shot.

Shelton Benjamin was introduced and Trish came out to ask him to join her team and give everybody Stratusfaction, He said “NO”, which caused Tyson Tomko to attack him starting their match. Shelton won.

I think Rodney Mack beat Rosey with a rollup, I missed this match and the guy I was with couldn’t remember the result.

Simon Dean (Mike Bucci) was introduced and had a few people in the front row doing squats with him. He wanted to do 100 but Maven’s music cut him off. Maven won this match.

Victoria beat Molly Holly with the Widow’s Peak.

Next scheduled match was Rhyno/Tajiri vs. La Resistance. Rhyno was a no show, so the match became Tajiri vs. Batista. Batista won with his powerbomb finisher.

Apparently a flight was rerouted, causing Rhyno to miss a connection, and thus he was unable to make it to the show. He is expected to make the rest of the weekend shows.

10 minute intermission.

La Resistance vs. William Regal/Eugene Dinsmore. Crowd was really into Eugene. Eugene did a funny spot where he rolled himself up and grabbed his legs, Grenier just rolled him around for a little while trying to decide what to do with him. Ending came when Eugene got caught in the ropes and as the referee was trying to untangle him, La Resistance hit Regal with their double team finisher for the win.

Edge pinned Jericho with his feet on the ropes.

Main event was advertised as a Triple H/Orton/Benoit triple threat match. Triple H came out and called out Randy Orton telling him to lay down and fulfill his destiny of letting Triple H become the World champion. Orton came out and attacked HHH causing Batista to come out and double team Orton, Benoit then made the save and Orton and Benoit ran off Hunter and Batista. Benoit then got on the mic and challenged Hunter and Batista to a tag team match.

Orton/Benoit beat HHH/Batista when Hunter was going for the Pedigree on Benoit and Orton came up behind him and gave him the RKO and pinned him. Benoit and Orton shook hands after the match and raised each others arms.
