Several years ago, Booker T competed against Chris Benoit in a memorable best-of-seven series while working for WCW. The series of matches put Booker T on the map as a solid force in the singles ranks of sports entertainment. Now, already an established Superstar, Booker T fights to keep his United States Championship in a similar style of matches. It’s a best-of-five series against John Cena. Unfortunately for Booker, he already trails 1-0, as Cena picked up the thrilling opening victory at SummerSlam. Can Booker even the score this week on SmackDown!? The most prolific manager of WWE Champions in history, Paul Heyman, has been warning SmackDown! viewers for weeks. Now the time has finally come, as Heidenreich will be at SmackDown!

Heyman has been able to lead such names as Kurt Angle, Big Show and Brock Lesnar to the top of the SmackDown! mountain. It will be interesting to see if he can do the same with Heidenreich.
