Indie News: Jerry Jarrett’s Tennessee Plans

Archive

Jerry Jarrett will be promoting and booking Nashville wrestling, with plans to start a circuit apart from NWA: TNA. Along with Bert Prentice, Jarrett will run the “USA Wrestling” promotion out of the Fairgrounds and in TNA Xplosion’s current time slot on WNAB-TV.

Jarrett is also reportedly trying to get the TV show, which will debut on September 11, into other Tennessee markets. Scott Hudson will host the show, and the arena debut is October 2, and called “Music City Memories.” The promotion will use TNA wrestlers along with local indie wrestlers, likely going a nostalgia route as well, and in Springfield and Columbia will promote shows with Mike Porter.
