Amazing Race Ends For Twins From Eugene

The Oregon Register-Guard posted the following article regarding Karli and Kami’s dismissal from the Amazing Race:

All good adventures must come to an end. For Karli and Kami French of Eugene, it happened in a large mud pool in New Zealand.

The 26-year-old twins were eliminated Tuesday from “The Amazing Race 5” reality show on CBS – but not before placing a respectable fifth among the 11 two-person teams initially entered. The winning team will share a $1 million prize, while everyone else heads home with little more than their 15 minutes of fame.

The plucky sisters followed clues and assignments that sent them racing from Buenos Aires, Argentina, to St. Petersburg, Russia, to Cairo, Egypt. On the ropes early, in second-to-last place, they rebounded to stay in the hunt as they bounced from Tanzania to India to Thailand.
