– It has been all but confirmed that Vince McMahon’s major announcement next Monday on RAW will be that the fans will be able to choose HHH’s opponent at Taboo Tuesday, which as reported here before, is being billed as the first ever interactive pay per view event. The commercial for Taboo Tuesday of course already ran during RAW, so Vince may have something bigger to announce unless the commercial running was an oversight. This stipulation adds another reason for Hunter regaining the World Title at Unforgiven rather than at a later date, since WWE feels that since they don’t have enough strong heel challengers to Orton on RAW, it makes more sense to have Hunter as champ with fans voting to see whether he faces Orton or another babyface such as Chris Benoit, Shelton Benjamin, Chris Jericho, Shawn Michaels, Eugene, etc. [Credit: PWInsider.com, WrestlingObserver.com, PWTorch.com]
– Brock Lesnar was on Minneapolis radio this morning, as well as ESPN2’s “Cold Pizza” where he said he hasn’t 100% ruled out returning to pro wrestling or trying out MMA, as well as NFL Europe (but not in Canada) as future options. He stated that his relationship with Vince McMahon is “on good terms.” Vikings coach Mike Tice called into a radio show that Brock was on, and told Lesnar that he’s trying to clear a practice squad spot for him so he can rejoin the team at some point later this season, and Brock responded by saying that gave him “goosebumps.” [Credit: 1Wrestling.com, PWTorch.com]
