WWE News: New Storm Commentary, WWE Canada, Edge/Hardy Updates

– The Toronto Globe and Mail’s Keith McArthur has a story here about WWE trying to market to displaced Canadian hockey fans on the brink of a lockout.

– WWE.com’s Anthony Cali interviewed Edge about being stripped of the IC Title here. Some highlights of the article:

On being stripped of the belt: “It’s my Intercontinental Championship, so giving it up felt like crap — that pretty much sums it up. It sucked. Any time that you’re not involved — especially when it’s because of injury — it doesn’t feel good at all. That should have been me in that Ladder Match. That should have been me climbing those rungs and grabbing my belt back. You know I have a problem saying it’s anyone else’s belt, because I never lost it.”

On Jericho vs. Christian (who was not called his “brother” in the story): “I wasn’t pulling for anyone. As a matter of fact, if they took each other out, it would have been even better, but it didn’t work out that way, so it really didn’t matter to me who won, because when I come back, I’m just gonna beat whoever has it.”

On his latest injury, which should keep him out another 3-4 weeks: “All of these injuries have frustrated me, but they haven’t gotten me down or anything.”

On eventually winning the World Championship: “… that’s all I have left to do. I’ll say that until I’m blue in the face and everybody’s sick of seeing it, but that’s what I’m gonna do.”
