– As of now, Gangrel & Viscera are only scheduled to appear on next week’s Smackdown, although plans can always change if they’re impressive.
– One way to keep Gangrel & Viscera on Smackdown would be if they proved to be a ratings bump! The show last night did well on the overnight ratings, based on 48 of the top 55 markets, getting a 3.7 rating. That number gave UPN a third place 8-10pm ET spot behind NBC (Joey at 13.0, Will & Grace at 14.3, Apprentice first 30 minutes at 12.4) and CBS (Survivor debut at 12.7; CSI at 15.3).
– Hulk Hogan, Mick Foley, Steve Austin and Stephanie McMahon are currently scheduled to air taped salutes to Smackdown’s fifth anniversary at this point.
