Man, I’m still suffering from getting smoked on my Unforgiven predictions. 1-5. : (

Taped from Seattle, Washington
Hosts are Al Snow & Johnathan Coachman

Rodney Mack vs Val Venis – Mack takes him down, and shows off some jivin’. Venis grabs a hammerlock, and works the arm. Val gets an arm wringer, but Mack makes the ropes and throws Venis out, where Jazz slaps him. BITCH SLAP BY A BITCH. Mack comes out and chop blocks the knee, and starts working on his leg. Elbow gets 2, twice. Mack continues to work the leg, as the crowd chants “Rodney sucks.” Wow, heat. Val comes back, and gets a half nelson slam for 2. Val tries for a suplex, but his knee won’t let him, so Mack drops him on the ropes, and finishes with a DDT @ 6:12. Coach and Snow call it the Ghetto Blaster. C’mon, it’s a DDT.
3/4*

We get the HHH celebration from RAW, as well as Orton popping out of the cake. Unfortunately, they don’t skip the spit metaphor.

We get a package covering the Seattle Slugfest/McMahon segment. Man, if Christy doesn’t win, you’ll know this contest is fixed.

Maven vs Wavell Star – Maven grabs a headlock, and a scoop slam gets 1. Maven gets some armdrags, as my picture goes out. Great. It comes back with Maven celebrating. Oh well, not like I missed anything.

Now to the Orton vs Evo match. We cut into Batista getting in a spinebuster, and tagging in HHH. HHH goes for the Pedigree, but Orton reverses out, and “inadvertently” headbutts Hunter’s crotch. Ref calls for the DQ, as HHH pushed him. A beatdown looks to take place, but Benjamin and Benoit make the save. Batista gets the worse of it, taking a chair shot, a splash, a Diving Headbutt, and a RKO.

REMEMBER, tomorrow night is the six man of Evolution vs Benoit, Orton, & Benjamin.

We cut into Kane getting the big boot on Gene, and getting the chair. Kans about to perform a Shawn Michaels special, but Lita won’t let him. So Gene hits Kane with the chair, causing the match to be a no contest, and hopefully the baby dying. Expect a rematch tommorow night.

Tajiri & Rhyno vs The Hurricane & Rosey – Y’know, if WWE were smart, they’d play off Hurricane Ivan. Maybe have that be his relative’s name, or a friend maybe. Whatever, expect Hurricane to be released by the end of the year. Tajiri and Hurricane start us off, and Tajiri gets an impressive looking armdrag for 1. Hurricane gets a cover for 1, and they do a stand-off. Rosey comes in, and Tajiri tries to drop toehold him. Tries being the key word. Rhyno comes, and the crowd chants his name! The two exchange arw wringers, and Rosey gets a quick cover for 0. They do a test of strength, and Rosey of course wins. Clothesline and headbutt gets 2. Hurricane in, and he gets a flying heel kick for 2. Rhyno powers Hurricane into his corner, and tags in Tajiri. Tajiri gets Hurricane in the corner, and gets the Tarantula. Rosey stops it, and Hurricane abuses Tajiri on the outside. Vertical suplex gets zip. Hurricane grabs a headlcok, but Tajiri gets out, and hits a spinning heel kick. Rhyno and Rosey in, and Rhyno gets a flying clothesline for 2. Rhyno goes for a belly to belly (on Rosey?) but Rosey gets a scoop slam, which sets up the Superhero’s Leg Drop, which gets 1, thanks to a kick to Tajiri, which gets 2, thanks to Hurricane. Rhyno hits the Gore, as my TV cuts out again! NO! It was just getting good. Oh well, I read Tajiri & Rhyno won.

Final Thoughts: Well the crowd was pretty hot for this, even if there only was like 1,000 of them. The main event was okay, though I didn’t get to see the ending, so it loses a lot of points for that. Tomorrow’s RAW looks pretty good.
Final Score – **1/4
