The album will feature eight original pop compositions, as well as covers of Charlie Chaplin’s “Smile” and Yes’ “Your Move.” Downey portrayed Chaplin in a 1992 film, and an earlier version of “Smile” was used in the film’s closing credits.
Downey, who performed when guest-starring on “Ally McBeal,” has songs that were featured in three films in which he starred: “Too Much Sun,” “Two Girls and a Guy” and “Friends & Lovers.”
