Since the Washington Senators left DC in the Sixties to become The Texas Rangers, the nation’s capital has been without baseball.
On opening day 2005, that will change.
The Montreal Expos are getting a new home in the United States in the Nation’s Capital after Major League baseball came to an understanding with Orioles owner Peter Angelos who had objected to a new team being dropped less than 40 miles from Camden Yards.
