The WB has found the cure for “One Tree Hill” rerun blues. The netlet has scheduled the third season of “High School Reunion” to air on Tuesday nights at 9 p.m. ET, presumably during a post-sweeps rerun cycle for “One Tree Hill.”

The shift from fictionalized high school shenanigans to real people remembering their high school shenanigans will begin on Tuesday, Dec. 7. The show will air over seven episodes, by which time viewers should be good and ready for the return of Chad Michael Murray.

“High School Reunion: Fort Lauderdale” features members of three classes from Cardinal Gibbons High School, a private Catholic school in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. None of the former students know which of their classmates would be at the two-week reunion, nor where it would be held. It seems likely, though, that old passions will be renewed, old conflicts will be uncovered and there will be many opportunities for second chances.

Things will get even more exciting when five star athletes from rival Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School show up, producing a tension that will either be really exciting or just a bit sad.
The second season of “High School Reunion” aired on Sunday nights at 9 p.m., drawing just over three million viewers per episode.
