A special four-disc box set of THE BEATLES’ first US recordings is being launched next month.

The Capitol Albums Volume 1 will be released on November 15 to commemorate the legendary four piece’s 40th anniversary of when America was first introduced to The Beatles.

The original US albums were released on vinyl and cassette but were eventually deleted in 1987.

The new box set brings together for the first time, the album that started it all for the band in the US, with ‘Meet The Beatles’, and three other albums that were released in 1964, ‘The Beatles Second Album’, ‘Something New’ and ‘Beatles ‘65’.

Each of the discs will include two recordings of each song, one in stereo and one in mono.

The Capitol Albums Volume 1 will also feature a 48-page booklet, along with a scrap book of photographs and clippings from 1964.
