WWE News: Tough Enough Final Eight, Monday Night Competition?

Archive

– TNA Impact is in danger of being removed from Canada’s TSN, after the WWE found out the network was planning on a Monday night showtime. TSN had posted a story saying they would be moving Impact to a Monday night slot, but has since taken the story down. Reportedly, Carl DeMarco of WWE went ballistic when he found out, and WrestlingObserver.com is reporting that there’s a 50% chance the show will not air.

– Tough Enough was narrowed down yesterday, and the final eight finalists will be announced on Thursday’s SD. Familiar-looking contestants that made it through include two who appeared on TV clips during SD (Daniel Rodimer of Tarpon Springs, FL (the Dave Draper looking guy) and John Meyer of Costa Mesa). Mike the Miz from UPW and MTV’s Real World also reportedly made the final eight, along with an experienced shoot fighter, while the son of Big John Studd was cut.
