We start with a recap of the Eugene vs. Bischoff match at Taboo Tuesday…basically the whole match.

Bischoff comes out wearing a Harley-Davidson driving cap (like the ones Joey Pants wears). He says that he was brought in make a change on RAW, but he is tired of having egg on him after he puts his foot down. He wants to see if anyone can do better at running RAW, so, he is going to do something that he hasn’t done, he will be giving himself the night off, and “the inmates will run the asylum.”

Evolution makes their way down. HHH says that since Bischoff has taken the night off, Evolution will run the show, because there is strength in numbers. HHH then says that Flair can have anything he wants. Flair wants Orton again, because he got lucky at Taboo Tuesday. HHH says that in his first act in charge, he orders Flair vs. Orton tonight. This brings out Orton, who says that takes orders from nobody. Orton says that he proved that he is a Legend Killer. Orton says that no one will listen to Evolution. But, since Flair wants Orton so bad, Orton wants the Title again. HHH says that if Orton can beat Flair, then he will give Orton a Title Shot. Orton says that Flair always says ‘To be the man, you have to beat the man.” Well he beat Flair last week, so that makes him ‘The Man.’ HHH then says that Orton has to let it all ride, and that if he loses to Flair tonight, he will never get a shot at the Title as long as HHH holds it.

WWE Rewind — Benoit defeating La Resistance by himself.

Shelton Benjamin (c) vs. Chris Jericho – IC Title
Back and forth to start. Jericho gets sent to the corner, and Shelton goes for the Stinger Splash, but Jericho reads it, and moves, and Shelton hits his head on the ringpost, as he falls to the outside. Jericho then goes to the top, and nails a plancha on the floor.

We come back, and Jericho has Shelton in a abdominal stretch. Jericho goes to the top, but Shelton trips him up, and Jericho is on the turnbuckle. Shelton goes to the top and nails a Frankensteiner. They are both down with a 10 count, and Shelton fights up, and hits his swinging enzaguri. Shelton with a sunset flip, Jericho gets out. Shelton then goes for the T-Bone, but Jericho reverses it and goes to lock on the Walls. Shelton twists out of it and hits a Northern Lights suplex for 2. Jericho bridges out, and has a back slide for 2. Jericho tries the Walls again, but Shelton locks on body scissors and pins Jericho.
Winner – Shelton

Jericho gets up and shakes Shelton’s hand, and leaves. Shelton celebrates some more, then Christian runs out and jumps Shelton, then nails the Unprettier.

Evolution is hitting on Christy Hemme. Christy says that she already has plans, and it seems like Evo is going to get forceful, but Jericho walks by, bumping HHH. Evolution then corners Jericho, asking if he has a problem…there seems to be more, but the audio seems to be cutting out. Benoit & Maven back him up…then Rhyno & Tajiri….then the Superheroes…Evo then backs off.

Recap of Edge costing HBK the title at Taboo Tuesday.

JR in the ring, Edge on the tron. Edge says that deserved the title shot. Why did HBK get it? Was it because of the sympathy factor, with his knee? He had a year off with a broken neck, then broke his hand, then a torn groin, but he fought it all. Then, he comes back, and gets booed out of his hometown of Toronto. He says that the fans have taken him for granted, and he will come back when he is good and ready.

HBK says that he was almost impressed with Edge’s list of injuries, but then he realized that it happened within 6 months. It’s taken 20 years to break his body down, but he still came to work today. HBK then says last week at the PPV, there was a certain buzz in the air. He then says that he was reminded that he is in this business for the fans. He gets all sentimental on us, and says when he comes back from his knee surgery, it will be for the fans.

Maven requested an interview, but Batista interrupts, and says that since Evo is charge, he is making himself a match. Maven comes back in and says that he wasn’t finished, but since Batista is right there, he will due. Batista says that Maven is not worth his time or energy. Maven then bitch slaps him, and makes Batista chase him out to the ring for a match.

As Maven is walking up the ramp, Batista jumps him, but Benoit and Jericho come out to back him up.

William Regal vs. Gene Snitsky
Snitsky jumps Regal from behind, and Regal doesn’t have a chance, as Snitsky quickly hits the Pump Handle. That needs a good finisher name…Dan Hevia?
DHEV276: They should call that pump handle “The Morning After Slam”
Yup, that works!
Winner – Snitsky

Eugene runs out to check on Regal, as Snitsky reiterates that the death of Lita’s baby wasn’t his fault, but all the destruction that will be on him now.

Lita is brushing her hair, and her best friend Trish walks up. Trish says that in the past year, she has gotten back together with Matt, ruined his career and life, made a baby with KANE, ruined his career and life, & lost a baby. Trish tells her not to worry though, because there are many up & comers that she can mess with. Trish then tells her, as a friend, that she needs to work on her pregnancy weight, because she is looking rather chubby. Lita then attacks, and Victoria is there to pull her off.
