Popular rapper and G-unit member Lloyd Banks, responsible for this summer’s club anthem “We On Fire”, has finally stepped out to address rumors that he was captured on videotape having intercourse with a man. Over the last month, chat rooms and internet sites provided links streaming the video content.
Eventually gay porn actor Ty Lattimore admitted that it was him in the film and not Banks. Unfortunately for the rap star, the admission wasn’t made fast enough for many of his former fans who stigmatized him as the “gay rapper”.
Banks admits to having watched the video to see for himself and noted the uncanny resemblance. In his opinion the rumor didn’t damage his reputation, as he toured non-stop throughout the confusion.
