This week’s Smackdown did 3.5 broadcast rating, with a five share – with hours of 3.6 and 3.4 – according to Nielsen Media Research and PWInsider.com. That is up from last week’s 3.2. The show peaked at 3.7 in the 8:45 p.m. ET segment.
The overnight rating was a 3.8, with a six share.
Of course, reports that WWE is concerned about the SD ratings are justified, since this week’s ratings were up against repeats of Joey and Will & Grace on NBC, and no World Series game — while next week, during TV sweeps, Joey, Will & Grace, The Apprentice, Survivor and CSI will be in full gear, and The OC and North Shore return to FOX. It should be interesting to see how, if at all, that impacts the ratings.
