“NWA Pro Wrestling returned to northern New Jersey in grand style on Sunday, October 24. On that historic date, the well-respected UWA announced its new affiliation and proudly debuted as NWA North Jersey. The crowd cheered as they heard the announcement made in center ring by Commissioner Rick Silver & NWA New Jersey/New York CEO Fred Richards.
The afternoon card, held in Passaic, NJ, saw several NWA North Jersey Championships won by some worthy competitors. Among them were Chris Candido & Ballz Mahoney. The card also featured Superstars such as Bobcat, Jason Knight, Frankie Starz, Bandido & Bandido, Jr., Laithon, Kuvattro, Skinhead Ivan & many other top shelf athletes who have their roots in the National Wrestling Alliance.
