Although he has been vocal about leaving the James Bond Franchise behind him, Pierce Brosnan has said that he might reconsider donning the tux again if the project is right. The 51 year-old actor says he may collaborate with filmmaker Quentin Tarantino, who is thinking about adapting the Bond novel Casino Royale.
“We have discussed things, Quentin and I, but I don’t know if it’s going to be that particular project,” says Brosnan.
The novel centers on agent 007’s efforts to defeat a Russian spy at the baccarat table. The book was filmed as a spy spoof starring David Niven in 1967. Tarantino’s version, should he do it, would be a more faithful rendition of the novel.
