WrestlinObserver.com’s Dave Meltzer is reporting that two more cuts are coming, as 12 wrestlers in total have been cut this week. PWInsider.com’s Mike Johnson is reporting that the numer may actually be 4-5 additional superstars, plus some developmental talent. Needless to say, morale will be very touchy until this round of cuts is over.
A rumor going around about Test’s release is that HHH was out to get him for a while, according to PWInsider.com. That site is also reporting that the way talent is being cut is that Vince McMahon makes the decision, passes it down to Johnny Ace (head of Talent Relations), who tells the talent directly. Many employees, in fact, found out about the cuts from WWE.com.
In a related note, The Hurricane’s name was taken off of RAW’s superstars page on WWE.com, but is now listed again.
