Episode 1.09: Joey and the Dream Girl, Part II

Joey convinces Donna to give him a chance to win her over from her husband. He talks with Gina to help plan the perfect weekend for him and Donna, a nice bed and breakfast place that Gina and Michael once stayed at. Michael has bad memories of that place though since they thought he and his mom were dating, so when they arrived at their room, there were rose petals spread across their bed. To Joey’s surprise though, Donna’s husband shows up at his place to try and win Donna back (and kick Joey’s butt). Joey lies to him though and says he doesn’t know where Donna is and when he tries to call Donna, Gina dis-connects the phone and tells Donna’s husband it was caused by an Earthquake. Joey leaves to get Donna before her husband can reach her, and Gina helps to distract Donna’s husband by telling him to hide in the closet to be safe from earthquakes. While away with Donna, Joey learns that really the only problem she has with her husband is that he isn’t aggressive enough for her, in that he would never fight for her. Joey feels guilty so he takes her back to his place and helps her and husband reunite. Meanwhile, Alex learns that one advantage of being hot, is that she gets free stuff. But later finds things weren’t as good as she first thought. Gina comes to her rescue so she doesn’t get stuck with a big bill for the new stereo system she bought.
Joey plans a romantic getaway in hopes of keeping Donna (Kelly Preston) away from her husband (Danny Nucci), who storms L.A. to find his runaway bride. Meanwhile, Alex learns the upside of being downright hot.
When Donna’s (Guest star Kelly Preston) ex-husband calls to reconcile, she is torn between her feelings for Joey and her history with her ex-husband. Gina tells Joey about Donna possibly getting back with her ex when Donna fails to tell Joey on their date. Meanwhile, Alex learns the meaning of “hot girls get stuff for free.”
