The Grudge, which has grossed around $75 million since release, is set to see a sequel. Senator International and Ghost House Pictures have signed a deal with screenwriter Stephen Susco to return for The Grudge 2. It’s unknown whether or not Sarah Michelle Gellar will be reprising her role from the first film. It’s also too early to tell if director Takashi Shimizu will be involved in the sequel.
