Archive

– Randy Savage got into the ring and challenged Jeff Jarrett, Hall and Nash after the PPV went off the air, declaring there’s a new sheriff in TNA while being flanked by 3LK and AJ Styles. The plan as of now for the Turning Point PPV in Decmeber is for Hall, Nash and Jarrett to face off against Savage, AJ and Brown. Savage will be at iMPACT! this week.

– Hulk Hogan was at the PPV with Brian Knobbs of the Nasty Boys, spending most of the time at the Gorilla position with TNA’s Dixie Carter. He and Savage DID speak backstage, although it was described as awkward.

– Scott Hall and Kevin Nash were said to have been sociable with everyone backstage, with Nash very impressed at AJ’s work, suggesting he be the first one to come out to confront them.

– Several hundred fans were turned away at the PPV, and the crowd was hot all night, which TNA was very happy with.

– Jim Mitchell and Johnny Devine were both backstage at the PPV, with the shadowy figure up in the rafters scheduled to be Mitchell.

– TNA had a post-PPV party for the VIP fans after the show, during which many superstars came out to sign autographs.

– The December TNA PPV “Turning Point” has its own Web site, featuring Monty Brown and the words “destiny awaits” here.

– Kevin Nash and Scott Hall are scheduled to work this this week’s iMPACT!

– Primetime Elix Skipper was taken to the hospital after the PPV as he suffered a concussion, which explains his mediocre performance during the match. He has since checked out of the hospital and is okay.

– A correction from yesterday’s news – Jerry, not Jeff, Jarrett said he’s looking forward to signing newly ex-WWE talent.

– During the PPV, Mike Tenay mentioned that James Storm’s grandmother passed away, and he had attended her funeral earlier yesterday afternoon. Our condolences go out to him and his family.

– So far, nothing is scheduled for November or December for airing TNA in Canada.
