– Pierce Brosnan, during an interview on Friday Night With Jonathan Ross, spoke of his anger from being shown the Bond door.
“When they told me, I was angry and the conversation was pretty short and sweet” said the 51 year old actor. ” They invited me back, and they changed their minds half-way through negotiations. It’s hard to find the truth.”
– Collin Farell, rumored to be the favorite to star in the next film and personally backed by Brosnan, went on record this week with his thoughts on the film. When asked if he was interested, he simply said, “No, not at all.”
– Another high-profile actor is at an early stages of talks with Bond producers: Obi Wan Kenobi himself, Ewan Mcgregor. And like Farrell, McGregor is being blessed by a former Bond, Sir Roger Moore.
