Spike Dudley (c) vs. Chavo Guerrero vs. Rey Mysterio vs. Billy Kidman – WWE Cruiserweight Title

PK: Well, The Boss hasn’t been doing too much with the title, and the real feud is with Kidman & Chavo. However, that feud is pretty high profile for some CW guys, and may not need the belt in the mix to continue, and they can have Spike put over someone fresh as a new Champ…Shannon? Akio? How about this, the one person who will definitely NOT win is Mysterio.
Winner – Spike

Matthew Michael: I see this going to anyone but Rey Rey, who simply doesn’t need the belt to be over. Since “the money’s in the chase,” perhaps the four-way is a chance for WWE to put the belt on one heel from another.
Winner – Billy Kidman

Eric Szulczewski: Boss Spike is just about played out. However, a good Chavito/Kidman feud based on the “injury” isn’t. Adding the title to it makes for a better feud. Give it to the heel here.
Winner – The Greasy Little Twink (been years since I called him that…)

Jed Shaffer: Putting it on Chavo would be nice with his recent comeback, but his storyline is meh for now. Rey…he’s got nothing going. Kidman would be alright, as it’d set up a London/Kidman title match down the line, but a heel-to-heel title switch? Can’t see it.
Winner – Evil Midget Tyrant Dudley

Raven West: Spike’s old news, and Chavo/Kidman’s a match they’ll save for Armageddon, as no title is required for the feud, so why not old faithful?
Winner – Rey Rey

David Goforth: Spike’s push seems to be winding down–which, by the way, is a shame. I don’t see Rey getting the belt yet either. Kidman winning gives the most options–he can feud with Chavo, Rey, or a returning Paul London (assuming he isn’t released before then).
Winner – Kidman

Gordi Whitelaw: Kidman would make the most compelling champion at this point.
Winner – Kidman

Mike Lawrence: Yay, my second roundtable and on one of the big 4 PPV’s no-less. The three challengers here have all been champion and since they’re not leaving the cruiserweight division anytime soon, they’ll become champ again. Let Spike keep it a bit longer. Hey, we English teachers (or soon to be in my case) have to look out for one another.
Winner – Spike

Tal Aulbrook: I would normally be excited for this match but after seeing NWA’s X-division gauntlet match, this cruiserweight match is not even going to compare. Needless to say, these guys are excellent wrestlers and will be exciting for a WWE pap-per-view. Billy Kidman needs to win this match, in order to keep rolling on with his sort of character build. The belt would look nice on Chavo though…
Winner – Billy Kidman

Trish Stratus (c) vs. Lita – WWE Woman’s Title

PK: I still like Lita, and although she is a former champ, she only held it for a few weeks before she lost it to Steph years ago, and has never won it back since. That thing has been a staple around Trish’s waist for some time now, and it’s time to change.
Winner – Lita

Matthew Michael: Just do it already, she was out a YEAR with that damn neck surgery and the crowd loves her.
Winner – Lita

Eric Szulczewski: Does anyone care at this point? The women’s division on Raw was neutered when Jazz and Kim were released. No one gives two shits about Lita to begin with. This is the piss break match.
Winner – Trish Stratus, only because she’s over

Jed Shaffer: Lita is still uterus-deep in the enthralling babykiller saga, and this’ll give heat for their eventual rematch at ‘Mania. Look for more wacky hijinks from Snitsky and baby dolls.
Winner – Mrs. Trish Hyatte

Raven West: These two have been feuding for a while, and if Lita doesn’t win it now, then I don’t know when she will.
Winner – Lita

David Goforth: Trish has had this title forever, but I don’t see Lita getting her full measure of revenge just yet.
Winner – Trish

Gordi Whitelaw: I guess Lita has to go over here to end the storyline, but then who’s left for her to feud with?
Winner – Lita

Mike Lawrence: I’ve got to agree with the general consensus here and say that Trish is hotter and better than she’s ever been. She’s a joy to watch and should continue to be champion. Lita should continue to have and lose illegitimate babies.
Winner – Trish Stratus

Tal Aulbrook: This feud, even for how horrible an actor Lita is, has put the final touches on Trish. She is finally developed into the perfect heel, it’s been awhile (if ever) since I’ve seen a female wrestling performer act/wrestle as entertaining…as Trish. Now that Trish is over, its time to try to give Lita something…anything!!!
Winner – Lita

The Undertaker vs. Heidenreich

PK: HAHA, UT job to a new guy on PPV…that’s humor right there.
Winner – Taker

Matthew Michael: It doesn’t make any sense to put Taker over here, especially with the huge push they’ve been giving Big Bad Jon. With Smackdown PPVs coming up in December (Armageddon), January (Rumble) and February (No Way Out), there will be plenty of time for Taker to get his win back heading into Wrestlemania.
Winner – Oh who am I kidding? The Undertaker

Eric Szulczewski: If you enjoy watching disasters, boy, you’re in for a treat. This one’s gonna suck until the cows come home, and then suck the cows as well.
Winner – No one wins in this scenario

Jed Shaffer: Undertaker vs. a big guy? I’M SO THERE!!! And by there, I mean another channel.
Winner – Under-the-glass-ceiling

Raven West: Heidenreich will get in some offense here, but Taker will semi-squash him, and for once, I’ll enjoy it.
Winner – Walker Texas Taker

David Goforth: While the Undertaker does lose matches, he never loses them definitively. I guess this will give us some idea how serious they are about pushing Heidenreich, but I just don’t think Taker would “feel it” if he were asked to lose to him.
Winner – Undertaker

Gordi Whitelaw: It’s unlikely that this match will be any good.
Winner – ‘Taker

Mike Lawrence: As IP’s unofficially self-appointed poetry guy I should like Heidenriech and his gimmick but I could easily count the ways in which he sucks. But he doesn’t suck as much as the Undertaker. One’s got nowhere to go but up, and one’s got nowhere to go but down. I’m in a positive mood, so Li’l Johnny’s my pick here.
Winner – Heidengoreich

Tal Aulbrook: Is it me or does Smackdown always have one match that involves two big slow guys that brawl it out? Meh, anyway, the Heidenrich character doesn’t really appeal to me, the whole straight jacket bit seems right out of 1993! Why can’t they just leave him as a monster that just wants to hurt people? That works…he does have Heyman, which does work for me!!!!! Heidenreich needs to win this match or all this non-sense would be for nothing…the real question is will Taker to the job?
Winner – Undertaker

Shelton Benjamin (c) vs. Christian – WWE IC Title

PK: Shelton is in it for the long haul. Him going over a series of people for the IC title would be extremely beneficial, and entertaining. Now, if only they would give him a cool finisher.
Winner – Shelton

Matthew Michael: This will be a great match, but it would hurt Benjamin more to lose the belt than it would help Christian to win it.
Winner – Shelton

Eric Szulczewski: Too soon for Benjy to drop the title, methinks. Christian will give him a good match, though. This might be the start to a nice extended feud that’ll get Benjamin over for good.
Winner – Shelton Benjamin

Jed Shaffer: They wouldn’t take it away from Shelton already, would they? God, I hope not. Christian doesn’t need the title to be over.
Winner – I refuse to use the P. Diddy song title here

Raven West: Benjamin needs to win, as it would make him look good, BUT he has done the better half of domination in the feud. Hmmm…
Winner – Shelton Benjamin

David Goforth: Benjamin’s getting too strong of a push right now to lose to Christian, who has been treated as an afterthought since his return. A feud with Batista seems inevitable.
Winner – Benjamin

Gordi Whitelaw: It’s likely that this will be a very good match.
Winner – Benjamin

Mike Lawrence: The match I’m most looking forward to, so it’ll be the
curtain-jerker. Just my luck. I think this is going to be a long term feud, so I see Benji winning here, but he’ll eventually lose.
Winner – Shelton Benjamin

Tal Aulbrook: Two solid wrestlers that somehow have become lost in the Raw shuffle. Their feud has more potential than having Benjamin fight Christian’s bodyguards week in and week out. Please let Christian have more of a role in this feud…Christian will win thanks to outside interference, hence furthering this feud…hopefully!!!
Winner – Christian

Kurt Angle/Luther Reigns/Mark Jindrak/Carlito Caribbean Cool vs. Eddie Guerrero/RVD/Big Show/John Cena – Elimination Match

PK: How cool of a stipulation would it be if the person that eliminates CCC would become the new US Champion. That would be the perfect opportunity to finally put it on RVD, (or it would’ve been for Mysterio). The faces have the star power, however they are playing a Show injury, and Cena can’t be 100%, but Team Angle has the up and comers, and storyline, we don’t know that CCC is hurt, which makes me lean towards the heels.
Winners – Team Angle

Matthew Michael: The stakes are HUGE in this mat- wait a second… what’s the point of this match, anyway? Is there any stipulation? Any titles on the line? Any title shots on the line? No? I will call this entirely based on who I think will win the RAW Elimination match.
Winner – The Bad Guys

Eric Szulczewski: The dynamic is simple. One face team has to win, and one heel team has to win. Thanks to the shenanigans on Raw Monday, and the fact that Angle’s team was standing triumphant at the end of
Smackdown, we know which face team wins and which heel team will win.
But will getting to that point be fun? This match will almost certainly be fun. I’ll say it’ll be Eddy and Cena in there at the end.
Winners – Team Guerrero

Jed Shaffer: To use a JR-ism, this will be “bowling shoe ugly”. Out of 8 workers, we have 2 who are capable of putting on a great match, three big slugs, one sloppy spot artist, and Cena & CCC. Eddie hasn’t beaten Angle since WrestleMania 20, I think. It’s about damned time he did.
Winner – Team Big-Van-Cena-Rero

Raven West – Okay, so here in Georgia, they’re advertising a local Armageddon ad, and Show’s heavily featured, so there’s your winner. Plus Cena beating CCC would be good for their feud, and it doesn’t really matter who wins, so why not the babyfaces.
Winners – Eddie Guerrero/RVD/Big Show/John Cena

David Goforth: This is just like last year’s lame Smackdown Survivor Series match–just replace Nathan Jones and Matt Morgan with Luther Reigns and Mark Jindrak. This is just a way of maintaining the status quo for another month or two until JBL loses the title to one of the participants in this match. So the outcome is irrelevant. I’ll say Guerrero’s team wins, to give him a modest form of payback for all the jobs he’s done to Angle lately.
Winner – Team Guerrero

Gordi Whitelaw: Since I’m picking the heel team will win the other elimination match, I’ll pick the faces here.
Winner – Team Eddie, with either Guerrero or Cena surviving.

Mike L: Big Show gets taken out by Jindrak shockingly, but Guerrero’s team still gets the win, with Carlito getting comeuppance from the returning Cena. They wouldn’t fly him in while the movies shooting just to have him lose.
Winners – Guerrero’s team

Tal Aulbrook: I really don’t care who wins this match, the Raw elimination match has the edge on the “who cares” category. It might have some solid wrestling thanks to Angle, Guerrero and Cena but with Cool hurt…some change could happen to the booking!!! Ummmmmmmm lets go with Team Guerrero thanks to that wonderful actor John Cena”¦
Winner – Team Guerrero

Triple H/Batista/Edge/Gene Snitsky vs. Chris Jericho/Randy Orton/Maven/Chris Benoit – Elimination Match

PK: I’m torn on this one, because I think the heels will win, but I don’t want to see Snitsky run Raw for a week. I think it would be much more enjoyable to see the faces run Raw, especially with all of them going after HHH.
Winners – Team Orton

Matthew Michael: It sure seems the heels will win this one, don’t it? I think it gets the point across better that Randy can’t have a title shot if his team wins and therefore he has to be more creative when he serves as GM.
Winners – Team Orton

Eric Szulczewski: So why not make de jure what is already de facto?
This will be the lesser of the SurSer matches, unless they book it so that it’s Trip/Benoit in there at the end.
Winners – Team Trip

Jed Shaffer: A chance for H-to-the-H-and-back-to-the-H’s on-screen ego-dildo to get stroked with command over Raw for a week? Surely he can resist the siren’s call! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
Winner – ALL FACES WILL DO THE JOB!!!

Raven West: Now the faces HAVE been on top, so that would normally mean that the heels get the last laugh. BUT I think because of the friction between the heels, that will be their demise. Also, Flair could very well FULLY turn face here.
Winners – Chris Jericho/Randy Orton/Maven/Chris Benoit

David Goforth: I actually am interested in this match–if the rest of the card were a little stronger, I’d consider ordering this PPV based on my interest in seeing this. The stipulation adds a lot of intrigue, especially with the power struggle between Evolution and everyone else we’ve seen over the past few weeks. There’s no clear favorite in my mind here, but I’ll pick the heels simply because heels are more entertaining in positions of authority.
Winner – Evolution and company

Gordi Whitelaw: I’d say they’re likely to continue Orton’s inappropriate Superman push here, but it would probably lead to better storylines if the heel team went over.
Winner – Heel team, with HHH barely pinning Randy after Orton almost ovecomes at least 2 to 1 odds.

Mike Lawrence: This is a tough choice, but I’ll go with the heel team since it’ll make for more interesting shows. Who wouldn’t want to see a Snitsky controlled show? Hide the strollers!! Blandy Orton will get his eventually get his championship rematch, it just shouldn’t happen now.
Winners – Triple H’s team

Tal Aulbrook: This match actually has me interested. The wrestling is going to be solid here, with the improvement of Orton, Batista…Edge looking like his has some passion again…and the great Jericho/Benoit all in this match. I don’t really know where they are going with this angle but look for HHH’s team to win but HHH won’t get the final pin, but Edge will…over Orton!!!! And then let the chase begin on HHH…
Winner – Team HHH (Edge gets final pin over Orton)

JBL (c) vs. Booker T – WWE Championship
PK: JBL said that he would not be on SD again if he lost the title to Booker at Survivor Series. Everytime he has made a promise like this, he pulls though. Oh, and how great of a line was: “The only reason why he was 5 time WCW Champion was because I was not in WCW.” I am starting to warm up to him, as he has become one the strongest heel characters in sometime.
Winner – JBL

Matthew Michael: Let’s see, I’ve already called Lita and Benjamin to win their title matches, and Kidman to win his… plus I think the fan favorites on RAW will all win, yet have predicted that the antagonists on SD will all win (except Taker). I guess I should pick Booker to win this one — and I really WANT him to win for so many reasons. Yet there are so many potential opponents for JBL than for Booker, and do we really believe JBL “will leave Smackdown forever” if he loses? Ah, f*ck it.
Winner – Booker T

Eric Szulczewski: High-Quality Speaker Boy will have to be proven a liar come Thursday when he shows up strapless.
Winner – Booker T

Jed Shaffer: Notice how WWE makes a big deal about JBL’s 5-month title reign? Let’s see…Eddie won it in February…lost it in July…that’s 5 months! Where’s his ticker-tape parade? But I digress…the show needs a “send-em-home-happy” moment, and unless they plan on making the mistake of giving Big Show the title for the THIRD TIME, this will be the end of the JBL era. Sweet merciful Christ, thank you.
Winner – The 5-time, 5-time, 5-time, 5-time, 5-time WCW Champion…and 1-time WWE Champion.

Raven West: I REALLY want Booker to win here, BUT I believe it will be JBL/Show at Armageddon, so I think Bradshaw will retain. I hope I’m wrong.
Winner – JBL

David Goforth: JBL’s promise to leave Smackdown gives away the ending. Unless they’re thinking of bringing him to Raw–which doesn’t make much sense this close to Wrestlemania. Besides, Raw is set for top level heels, while Smackdown really needs JBL.
Winner – JBL–but he loses the belt at Royal Rumble (or sooner)

Gordi Whitelaw: I’d prefer a Booker T win, but JBL’s announcement that he’ll be leaving if he loses makes it seem likely that he will win.
Winner – JBL

Mike Lawrence: Booker T’s not getting any younger and JBL’s not getting any better, so it seems like a logical choice to give Booker the strap, finally. Of course we all know Vince’s track record, but hey there’s a first time for everything. I’ll be damned if a rich evil Texan wins something else this month.
Winner – Booker T

Tal Aulbrook: JBL has to lose…please…push him back down to the mid-card, ala Benoit and Jericho…Booker T needs to win!!!! NEEDS TO WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!
Winner – Booker T

I like Comics, Wrestling, Super Mario Bros & Dead Space. Oh ya, and Scott Pilgrim.
