TNA is still waiting the ratings from their specials with The Best Damn Sports Show Period, with the hopes that good numbers could get them a better time slot, and maybe on Monday Nights.
Bigger news is that TNA backstage is a mess. Jerry and Jeff Jarrett have been locking horns now more then ever, with Jerry trying to convince PANDA Energy that he should be the main booker, with Terry Taylor & Dusty Rhodes underneth him. One of the things Jerry is telling PANDA is that he can bring in Hulk Hogan if they give him the pen.
Jeff Jarrett, Dutch Mantel & Jeremy Borash currently make up the booking staff, but there is a lot of backstage heat on Mantel, as he is responsible for the poor booking of the past few weeks. There was even rumors of a walk out by the wrestlers during Victory Road.
The Hogan rumors fly even more, with PANDA’s Bob Carter giving Hogan the personal invitation to be backstage during Victory Road, to see what his interest is to come on board, and possibly buy it out from PANDA!
PANDA has put over 15 Million into TNA, bringing in the big stars (Hall, Nash, Savage, DDP, and Piper), as it seems like they are ready for the next giant step in the future of TNA, and hope they spark some interest.
While Savage did no-show last weeks Impact tapings, he has confirmed that he will be there this week for sure.
