1wrestling.com and The Wrestling Observer are reporting that Hardcore Holly fought Rene Dupree in a non-working fashion at the Holla Holla Holla Tour in Syracuse last night. Apparently in the middle of the Holly/Charlie Haas vs. Kenzo and Rene hardcore rules match, Holly hit Dupree with a stiff chairshot outside of the ring and proceeded to nail him with stiff puches afterward. One fan’s report stated that Dupree’s left eye and the entire orbital area were extremely swollen. The same fan reported that Dupree went to get his belt towards the end of the match, at which point Holly started running for him again. Rene took off for the back, but not in a “running from the face” kind of way. Later on the same fan overheard security saying that Holly and Dupree were involved in a fracas backstage.
