Richard Huff, in his column in today’s Daily News, talks about the Monday Night Football spoof that led off RAW this Monday at 9pm ET.
As previously reported here, the show started off with WWE Intercontinental Champion Shelton Benjamin, an African American, in the lockerroom being approached by WWE Women’s Champion Trish Stratus, a blonde, white, Canadian with a broken nose. Before she could drop her towel, a la “Desperate Housewives'” Nicollette Sheridan and NFL WR Terrell Owens, Vince McMahon entered the picture to scream at the two for ruining the moral fabric of America — of course, tongue in cheek. Vince later went on to “get the girl,” of course.
