– WWE punished Bob Holly for how he acted with Rene Dupree at a recent house show, giving him stiff shots to the head. He was fined and had to job in a dark match at the SD tapings.

– In addition to today’s Daily News story on the WWE/MNF spoof, today’s Daily Variety picked up the story as well. Additionally, the financials got reported on in the NY Times, Variety, and elsewhere.

– Bret Hart appears on TSN’s Off the Record on 12/13, and Randy Orton will be on soon also.

– Today’s CBS Early Show ran a piece of 94-year-old Frances Chacon, who is a huge wrestling fan, who had a wish to meet a wrestler for her birthday. HHH met her and gave her an autographed copy of his book “Triple H’s Approach to a Better Body” as well as four tickets to Saturday night’s house show in Philadelphia. – WrestlingObserver.com’s Dave Meltzer is reporting that Tough Enough competitors Dan Puder and Daniel Rodimer are two of the top guys based on non-televised physical activities/training, while Mike Mizanin has as much desire as anyone left going into tomorrow’s show. Justice Smith has been a physical disappointment, and The Miz has far from been impressive. Ryan Reeves sticking around this long has been a surprise.

– The Rochester Democrat and Chronicle today ran a story about Rene Dupree’s latest poodle “Ginger” which explains that she was paid about $350 for her appearance.

– Last week’s Smackdown was the highest rated UPN show of the week.
