A “Major Impact” Before Turning Point!
First Ever Impact World Heavyweight Title Match This Friday!

Director of Authority Dusty Rhodes laid down the law on Tuesday’s Impact – and sent shockwaves through the TNA locker room with just days before this Sunday’s Turning Point!

Rhodes announced this Friday on Impact, there will be a NWA World Heavyweight Title Match as champion Jeff Jarrett defends the gold against “The Alpha Male” Monty Brown! Rhodes promised to mix things up in TNA and this is certainly a big time delivery.

Jarrett was already set to team with “Kings of Wrestling” teammates Scott Hall and Kevin Nash against The Macho Man Randy Savage, The Phenomenal AJ Styles and the Charismatic Enigma Jeff Hardy in the main event of the Turning Point Pay-Per-View. Now, thanks to the Director of Authority, the champion will find himself in the Serengeti this Friday on Impact!

The Alpha Male Monty Brown has torn through the TNA roster like a juggernaut in recent months, and is already set to face an equally unstoppable force this Sunday in the monster Abyss in a “Serengeti Survival Match”.

Will Jeff Jarrett become the latest prey to fall victim to The Alpha Male’s “Pounce” finisher? Can The Alpha Male Monty Brown capture the NWA World Heavyweight Title and walk into Turning Point wearing the gold? Or, will Jarrett and the Kings turn back the first attack by Dusty?

Tune in this Friday afternoon at 3PM on Fox Sports Net for the Jarrett vs. Alpha Male World Title Match as the face of TNA could potentially change heading into Sunday’s Turning Point Pay-Per-View!

Chris Sabin, who goes for the X Championship this Sunday on Pay-Per-View against “The Canadian Destroyer” Petey Williams, will be in action this Friday on Impact against fellow X Division master Kid Kash! Two of TNA’s most dominant high-flying forces in Kash and X number-one contender Sabin will face off in a preview of this Sunday’s aerial assault! Can Sabin shut down the cocky Kash, or will the “K-I-D” make a major statement in the X Title picture?

The following is a press release issued today by NWA: TNA:

ONLY ONE TEAM WILL REMAIN AFTER SIX SIDES OF STEEL

Nashville, TN (November 29, 2004) — In the history of Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, there have been two tag teams that have dominated the ranks. Those two teams are America’s Most Wanted (“Tennessee Cowboy” James Storm & “Wildcat” Chris Harris) and Triple X (“Fallen Angel” Christopher Daniels & Primetime). This long standing battle will be settled once and for all December 5th at “Turning Point.”

AMW and Triple X met last month at “Victory Road” in a last team standing match were America’s Most Wanted came out on top. TNA thought that match would finally settle the score, but it did not. New TNA Director of Authority, “The American Dream” Dusty Rhodes, decided to settle this score once and for all in Six Sides of Steel. Just to make sure everyone at TNA can move on past this match, the DOA put a special stipulation on the contest. The losing team cannot ever tag team again in TNA.

On June 25, 2003, these two teams met in TNA’s first ever cage match that was called by many experts “The Match of the Year.” When they lock up again inside the steel cage, at “Turning Point,” they are sure to bring the house down yet again. The matches between AMW and Triple X have been consistently fantastic throughout TNA history and both have much to prove in this battle that will be their last. All this action and more is available on pay-per-view Sunday, December 5th 8PM ET/ 5PM PT for only $29.95 SRP. This is more wrestling for less money than anywhere else in the world!

The alternative for the true wrestling fan, Total Nonstop Action Wrestling prides itself on delivering quality, family programming that is clean, innovative, cutting edge and with the high-risk, high-flying athleticism that TNA Wrestling is known for. Total Nonstop Action Wrestling “iMPACT!” airs Fridays at 3:00 p.m. on FSN (check local listings). TNA “Xplosion” is a syndicated program (check local listings).
