Rumors are beginning to circulate that Natalie Portman is interested in a role in the next Indiana Jones film.
According to insiders, Portman mentioned to her Star Wars director George Lucas that she would love to be part of the next Indy, which prompted the main man to find her a slot. The comments were apparently overheard during the actress’ appearance at the premiere of new movie Closer.
As of now, however, the whole situation is heresay. Also, the next Indy is still just in the first-draft stage, and must meet the approval of Lucas, Harrison Ford and Steven Spielberg.
