Tim Welch played the Vince McMahon character in the parody sketches. Management was reportedly very happy with how the vignettes came off.

Randy Savage was said to have been surprised by the lack of reaction he received when he made his entrance during the six-man tag. Jimmy Hart was not allowed at the gorilla position and had to leave the backstage area when it came time for Savage to become a part of the match.

TNA President Dixie Carter sat in the front row for much of the evening and was seen cheering on Raven during his match against Diamond Dallas Page.

After the Monty Brown vs. Abyss match, the crew tried to change the ring apron but was unable to do so, since it was tied too tightly.

Trinity wasn’t on the show last night and the six-person tag was made into a regular tag. Jacqueline was moved from wrestler to referee, because Trinity called the office at the last minute and said she was working on a movie. Management was of course unhappy with her decision.

A few people noted that the new pyro system used caused some smoke problems in the building. It was noticeable early on during the hard camera shot that the building looked very smoky.
