The finals of the Tough Enough competition are tonight, as well as a recap of John Cena’s brutal victory at Armaggedon.
Orlando Jordan is in the ring (WITH HAIR!) and he introduces YOUR WWE Champion John Bradshaw Layfield. JBL comes to the ring with Image Consultant Amy Weber (*drools*) and Secretaries of Defense The Bashams. Red, white, and blue balloons and confetti fall from the rafters as JBL celebrates on the apron. JBL gets on the mic and calls himself a conquering warrior returning from battle. JBL compares himself to FDR and Ronald Regan! JBL calls Teddy Long corrupt and the fans un-greatful. JBL gives Amy a princess tiera as a Christmas gift and starts up his own “J-B-L” chant! JBL says 2004 was the year of JBL, just like 2005 will be.
MEDAL!
Enter Kurt Angle and his two followers Luther Reigns and Mark Jindrak. Angle gets right in JBL’s face and tensions arise. JBL is upset at Angle for stopping his party. Angle says his title win at Armageddon 2000 in the six man Hell in the Cell match was MUCH greater then JBL’s win. Angle says HE INVENTED the over the top ridiculous title celebrations BUCKO! This starts a “Bucko” chant. JBL demands he be refered to as JBL. Angle calls him bucko again and JBL reminds him that he lost a 3 on 1 match at Armageddon. Angle says he could beat JBL’s ass tonight without breaking a sweat. JBL thinks that it’s a great idea, but not tonight. JBL says he is taking the rest of the year off and this draws out Teddy Long. Teddy gets on the mic says tonight’s main event is JBL vs Kurt Angle for the WWE championship! JBL looks awfully upset as we get another staredown between Angle and JBL.

Kidman & Akio vs Flying High
Kidman and Rey start us off as we get a big RVD chant from the crowd. Kidman gets a quick backbreaker then tags in Akio but Rey comes back and they do some chain wrestling. Akio dumps Rey into a Kidman dropkick on the outside. Back in Akio works over Rey with a standing chinlock. Rey breaks it and comes back with a spinning neckbreaker/DDT and both men are down. RVD tags in he takes out Kidman with a clothesline and a spinning kick. Akio comes in and gets kicked down. RVD hits rolling thunder on Kidman for 2. RVD hits a monkey flip into a dropkick by Rey for 2. Akio and Rey dump each other over the top rope as Kidman hits the BK Bomb in the ring on RVD. Kidman goes for the shooting star press but RVD recovers and kicks him. Rey comes in and rana’s Kidman down right into perfect position for a ***** star frog splash by RVD.

Torrie Wilson comes out in full on Uncle Sam gear. She’s looking fantastic as usual. Torrie gets on the mic and talks about the brave men and women of the United States Armed Forces. They recap Christmas in Bagdad last year, and she promises a good showing again this year. Very nice thing WWE is doing for the troops as usual.
HEIDENREICH appears out of nowhere, without Heyman. He rushes the announce table and he takes Cole’s chair out from under him. Heidenreich puts the chair in the ring and sits in it. Heidenreich reads a poem. Heidenreich says he has been beating once by Taker, but he has cost Taker WWE gold twice. Heidenreich says the next time they meet, Undertaker will taste defeat.
Backstage, Eddy and Booker are walking! Eddy and Booker both agree they are on the same page when some buxom blond walks by. Eddy and Booker both introduce themselves to her and the pleasure is all theirs. Eddy says next week in Iraq, he is flying solo. Booker says he isn’t the only star on Smackdown and that next week will be the Booker T Off. Eddy and Booker start to argue when Booker reveals he was just joking and they walk off laughing.

Orlando Jordan is trying to see Teddy but Michelle McCool informs him that Long is medidating and he can’t be bothered. Luther comes around and he and Orlando argue about which one of their bosses is better. Orlando gets the one up on Luther by mentioning JBL offers full health-care, including dental! Luther walks off pissed.
Booker T & Eddy Guerrero vs Kenzo Suzuki & Rene Dupree
Eddy is in a incredibly tacky concept car type lowrider. Dupree and Booker T start us off with Booker backing Dupree into the corner and breaking clean. Dupree gets a quick cheapshot but Booker lariats him down. Booker starts chopping away on Dupree then hits a back elbow smash. Eddy tags in and he elbows Dupree down. Dupree comes back with a back elbow of his own. Kenzo tags in but Eddy just clobbers him down in the corner. Booker tags in and he takes Kenzo down with a jumping side kick for 2. Kenzo comes back and hits a backdrop on Eddy. Dupree tags back in and he flapjacks Eddy. Eddy plays possum and hiptosses Dupree over the top rope as we go to a commercial break.

We come back with Booker and Eddy working Kenzo over in the face corner. Booker starts chopping away in the corner but Kenzo comes back with a throat chop. Dupree tags in but Booker hits a quick spinebuster for 2. Booker sets up the scissors kick, but Kenzo pulls the ropes down and lowbridges Booker to the outside. Back in the ring, Dupree and now Kenzo work Booker over the corner with kicks and chops. Kenzo hits a high elbow on Book for 2. Kenzo puts on a neck vice but Booker T breaks out of it. Booker flapjacks Dupree and makes the hot tag to Eddy. Eddy dropkicks Dupree and clotheslines Kenzo. Eddy hits 2 of the 3 rolling verticals on Dupree but Kenzo breaks it up. Eddy dumps Dupree as Booker hits the Bookend on Kenzo. Booker does the spinaroonie then the scissorskick. Eddy finishes Kenzo off with the frog splash for the pin.

Backstage, Orlando informs JBL that he couldn’t get the match cancelled. JBL says that’s ok that he wants the match. Amy says after JBL wins he can head to Iraq. JBL tries to talk his way out of that when CARLITO walks in. Carlito says Teddy is out to get JBL just like he was out to get Carlito. Carlito says that after JBL wins tonight, that they need to have a talk. Carlito takes a big bite of his apple and everyone gets worried. Carlito simply swallows and walks off with a smile.

They show a full recap of the Cena-Jesus street fight from Armageddon. Since it’s just a recap, I won’t bother talking about it.
Tough Enough head trainer Al Snow is in the ring with the big gold trophy. Snow introduces Mike Mizanin and Daniel Puder. Snow announces Daniel Puder as the winner and he jumps around. Snow informs Puder that not only is he 1 million dollars richer, he has a chance to main event Wrestlemania! Snow tells Daniel that Teddy Long has allowed him to be an entrant into the Royal Rumble!
Kurt Angle is backstage in his locker room. He talks about how America needs a hero with a pure body and spirit. He rags on NBA players for being thugs, MLB players for being cheaters, and NHL players for not showing up to work. Luther makes an off-color comment about healthcare benefits but Angle doesn’t want to hear it right now. Angle walks off ready for his match with JBL.

Joy Giovanni looking FANTASTIC comes to the ring in a Santa Claus outfit tossing candy to the live crowd as “Medal” hits.
WWE Title Match: JBL (c) vs Kurt Angle
Teddy Long is on commentary and he announces that next week in Iraq, it will be Undertaker vs Heidenreich! Before the match, Joy gives JBL a candy cane which irks Amy to no end. Amy gets in Joy’s face and we got a CAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT FIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHT. Amy rips Joy’s top off and Joy likewise does the same. The minions of our two main eventers break up the scuffle as Teddy Long gets on the mic and ejects everyone from ringside! It’s going to be a one-on-one encounter when we come back from commercial.

We come back with both men in a collar and elbow tieup. Angle grabs an armbar so JBL slugs him. Angle snaps off a quick overhead belly to belly suplex and starts punching away in the corner. JBL comes back with a knee lift and a back elbow. JBL drops an elbow for 2. A “lets go Angle chant” breaks out as JBL hits a suplex for 2. JBL goes to a reverse chinlock to get a breather. Angle fights his way up then takes JBL down with the ankle lock! JBL scampers and makes the ropes. JBL bails, Angle follows but JBL thumbs Angle in the eye and sends him into the steel steps. Both men are down as we take another commercial break.

We come back with JBL having Angle locked in a sitting hammerlock. Angle counters it but JBL takes him down with a shoulderblock. JBL locks on a cross armbreaker! Angle slides into the ropes with his feet. Both men are down and we have a 10 count. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, both men get up. Angle starts blasting JBL with right hands. Angle hits a flying forearm but then JBL catches him with the fallaway slam. Angle counters the clothesline from hell with a backdrop. Angle hits the rolling GERMANS and the STRAPS ARE DOWN! JBL slides out of the Angle Slam but misses a big boot. Angle locks on the ankle lock but JBL rolls over and kicks Angle away. Angle counters another kick and hits the ANGLE SLAM! 1-2-kickout! Angle lifts JBL up but JBL takes him down with a single arm DDT on the injured shoulder! JBL sets Angle up for the cigarette burn powerbomb, but Angle slides through and locks on the ankle lock! Orlando Jordan shows up from out of nowhere, but Angle backdrops him over the top rope WHILE holding onto the ankle lock! The Bashams run out, along with Luther and Jindrak. The referee is distracted by the brawl outside the ring and that gives Orlando the chance to sneak it and hit Angle with the WWE title belt. JBL crawls and covers…. 1…2… KICKOUT! Angle pops up quickly and locks on the ankle lock with the heel hook added for more pressure!! JBL is about to tap when Orlando comes in and attacks him right in front of the ref for the blatent DQ.
Winner by DQ – Kurt Angle
Post match we have a huge brawl. Big Show comes out and he chokeslams everyone and eventually hits an F5 on Orlando to end the show. Foreshadowing anyone?
