I’m gonna be taking it easy on the recappin’ this week, cause tommorrow’s my birthday, I’m tired right now, and fantastically lazy.
WWE Velocity- December 18th, 2004
-WTF, no Demott tonight, there’s some new guy named Steve. Bastard.
-Hardcore Holly and Charlie Haas vs. Nick Sinn and some other jobber named ‘Silantro’. Eh, decent match, Holly pins Sinn after an Alabamaslam. **.
-Still to come tonight, we get to see the US title streetfight from Armageddon. Again.
-Up next, a recap of the Tough Enough finale.
-WWE Bodyslam of the Week: The Dixie Dogfight from ‘Geddon.
-Now, the TE finale. Of course, that backstage douche Puder wins and is entered in the Royal Rumble. Here’s hoping for his sake he doesn’t dropkick Undertaker out”¦.
-Still to come, the US title squa”¦ er, match.
-Now we get some interviews and such from the Blade Trinity premier regarding Triple H, even though Trips has nothing to do with SmackDown..
-WWE Rewind: Funaki winning the Cruiser title.
-Now, we get to see the complete US Title match from Armageddon, where Cena absolutely squashes Jesus. We go to a commercial right after Cena takes his “F*ck Fear” ripoff shirt off.
-We return for the conclusion of the match. Cena bloodies Jesus, beats him all over the arena, and pins him with the FU, before laying out CCC and taking his chain back.
-Up next, a recap of the SmackDown main event: JBL/Angle for the WWE Title.
-Back in Velocity, SD main event recap. We see Angle get screwed out of the ring due to Orlando hitting him in front of the ref, DQ’ing JBL. Afterwards, Angle’s stable and the Cabinet brawl until Big Show kills everyone and delivers the Worst F-5 Ever on OJ.
-We come straight out of that to see Paul London making his entrance, set to take on someone we won’t find out about until after the commercial.
-Best of Raw 2004 ad.
-WWE in Iraq promo. Nice to see that Raw gets the week off next week and the SD guys fly get to fly into a war zone.
-Paul London vs. Shannon Moore. Pretty good match here, London wins with an Oklahoma Roll. ***.
-My Thoughts: Main event was the only thing worth watching this week. And if DeMott’s gone from Billocity”¦.. God help us.
