Full Smackdown & Velocity Taping Results [Spoilers]

Smackdown and Velocity taping results according to Jeanette Bihm and PWInsider.com:

Velocity:

*Orlando Jordan defeated Matt Johnson, who was announced from Lafayette, so he got cheered pretty good.

*Kenzo Suzuki defeated Paul London.

*Chavo Guerrero defeated Billy Kidman.

Luther Reigns Mark Jindrak defeated Bob Holly & Charlie Haas. I had my Holly sign (Holly fears Cappotelli) and the camera guy looked right at me with the camera, so watch for it.

Smackdown:

Almost a full house, very little tarped off area.

*WWE United States champion John Cena defeated Rene Dupree.

*Kurt Angle has a challenge, with Matt Stryker (ROH), who claimed to be from New Orleans. Relatively quick match.

*WWE champion JBL does a promo where he says he will pick who he defends out of a bowl… turns out to be Shannon Moore. Squash isn’t the word. Teddy Long comes out and reveals that the bowl was only filled with papers with Moore’s name. So he makes a Royal Rumble match…. JBL vs. Angle…… vs. Big Show. Shannon saw my “push Shannon Moore” sign… he pointed at me and smiled.

WWE Cruiserweight champion Funaki defeated Spike. Yeah. I didn’t pay much attention to this match because I had to rewrite my notes. Some a****** spilled a Coke on my note book.

WWE Tag Team champions Rob Van Dam and Rey Mysterio defeated Booker T and Eddie Guerrero. There was a huge thing over who was gonna get the title shot. I knew it would be them since from my seat I could see Eddie’s car behind the set. Good match, great comedy from Eddie by getting the belt, but debating it first. Then he put on it top of Rey and laid down, looking like Rey has hit him. He was waving ‘bye’ to Rey, but the ref caught him… and all he did was lay back down! I doubt any of that will get on air.

I think that was the last match for SD.

After that was the dark match, with Undertaker vs. JBL & Orlando Jordan. Taker’s entrance…. OH. MY, GOD. I was literally shaking inside and out. If you’ve never seen it live, there is no way to understand it. Heidenreich was in the ring, talking trash to Taker. The lights went out and then the music started…. four druids came out pushing a casket. Taker came up on the Titantron saying that at Rumble he had Heidy’s final resting place…. the casket was put ringside. Heidenreich reached out and touched it… and the lid popped open and Taker was in it!! Awesome.

Pretty good casket match. They filmed it so it may end up on TV one day or on something else.

Biggest pops:
Taker
Cena
Eddie
Big Show

Biggest Heat:
JBL
Heidenreich
Dupree
Kenzo
