Update On New WWE Developmental Area

Archive

TNA official Bill Behrens is at WWE Headquarters today, discussing the possibility of his NWA Wildside promotion becoming the Atlanta, Georgia developmental territory WWE has been looking into creating. WWE officials inspected the NWA Wildside school a few months ago to make sure it would be up to the standards of what they were looking for.
Jody Hamilton (who helped to run the WCW Power Plant) is expected to be involved with training in the Atlanta territory when it finally launches, along with Tim Horner. It is also expected that WWE will relocate someone (possibly Bill DeMott) to assist with training as well. Behrens flew up to Stamford this morning from Orlando, where he was for last night’s iMPACT! taping.
Aside from running NWA Wildside, Behrens also works backstage in different capacities for TNA. Behrens also works as an agent for AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels, fielding their independent bookings.
