NWA Wildside promoter Bill Behrens was let go from his backstage position with TNA on Friday. Apparently, Behrens was told the company wouldn’t be able to continue flying him to Florida and paying him for his duties, which included running the babyface gorilla position at events and booking outside talent for TV tapings. The timing for the decision is odd, since Behrens was at WWE Headquarters this past Wednesday meeting about Wildside becoming a developmental territory. Behrens will continue to act as an agent for TNA stars AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels, booking them for independent events.
