Rob Van Dam is undergoing tests on his injured knee, but WWE seems to have some “new” teams lined up to step in should RVD and Rey’s team have to be split up temporarily.
The Shane Twins, recently signed out of NWA Florida, were backstage last night and faced Shannon Moore and Steve Madison in a dark tag match. Also backstage were the Dudley Boyz, who have been vacationing since they were written out of the storylines due to injuries sustained at the hands of the Big Show. Also, RVD and Rey Mysterio will lose the tag belts on Smackdown this Thursday in a four-way tag match vs. the Bashams (who win the belts), Eddie/Booker and Reigns/Jindrak. With the Basham Brothers as Tag Champions and JBL as WWE Champ, there has been speculation that a program with Orlando Jordan and the US Title will begin.
