-A week ago, an interview with Victoria was posted here from Alex Marvez. In the interview, she was quoted as saying “We are confused, there are so many girls who do not have wrestling experience… I can’t hate them. Of course, I’m jealous of Christy Hemme. But I hope that they’re itching to wrestle because that’s what happened to me. I don’t want to see us die out…” in regards to WWE’s recent firing of female wrestlers who were replaced by Diva Search contestants. In her latest entry on her site, Victoria reports that she was misquoted: “The “reporter” twisted what I said, and printed that I was jealous of Christy. I’m not that kind of person, and it bothers me to be portrayed that way. Here it is from my mouth…I like Christy. We’ve spent a lot of time together, and I consider her a friend. She beat out a ton of beautiful girls in a nationwide search, and she deserved to win the contest.” She has since confirmed with the WWE office that she was misquoted. -Pat Patterson was backstage at the Smackdown taping. He was reportedly involved with some of the production of the this weeks show. There are rumors from some that Patterson is back to help with the Royal Rumble match, due to it being his creation.
