First off, I want plug what I think may be the best Smackdown! recap I’ve ever read. Smackdown! is such a great show, so I suggest you must check out this weeks’ right here. I honestly don’t know why this guy doesn’t get more praise.
In other news, the Falcons MURDERED the Rams last night. Yeah, they were putting up a good fight in the 1st quarter, but they were no match for Vick and the boys. Now just one more game to the Superbowl.

Robert Conway vs Val Venis – Fans chant “USA”. Venis gets a boot, but Grenier gets a forearm. Venis gets a chop and a side russian legsweep. Widro pops up and starts asking me about doing a TNA ppv, so execuse my lack of coverage. Hell no I’m not covering their shitty ppv tonight. I’d rather watch the Surreal Life. Anyways, Conway wins with the Au Revoir @ 5:51.
We pick up Rhyno/Edge with…Rhyno getting a back suplex for 2. Rhyno sets up a Gore, but Edge boots him. Spear, and Edgecator finishes it. They show the stuff with HBK and Edge afterwards. That should be good at WM, IF Edge wins.
They show the Dean/Kane segment from last week.
Steven Richards vs Tajiri – Tajiri gets a headlock on Steven, and gets his shoulders down for 2. A kick to the chin gets nothing. Richards sends Tajiri out and beats on him, and brings him back in, and stradles Tajiri on the ropes, and kicks him the back for 2. Tajir fights out of a full nelson, and gets a small package for 2. Handspring elbow, and german bridge gets 2. Richards walks into the Tarantula, but misses a Buzzsaw Kick, and Richards gets a Baldo Bomb for 2…about 5 times. Tajiri kicks him in the back of the head for 3 @ 6:06.

Trish Stratus vs Molly Holly – It’s pretty bad when they’re forced to do a heel/heel match. Expect a lot of Trish/Victoria. They two stand off, but Trish gets a tilt a whirl headscissors. She gets a couple covers, and and works over Molly. 2nd rope clothesline gets 2 for Trish. Scholl girl gets 2 for Molly. A clothesline gets 2. Molly gets a weird headscissors for 2. Trish comes back with a clothesline for 2. Trish gets a roll up for 3. Didn’t get the time, match was dead from the beginning though.
