U2’s 2005 World Tour will begin at the San Diego Sports Arena on March 28. Remaining dates will be announced on Monday, January 24, for the Vertigo Tour.
The North American segment is scheduled for a two-month run and concludes with a finale in Boston around Memorial Day. From there, the tour will head to Europe for approximately 30 shows, running until the middle of August.
It’s expected that Vertigo will be the biggest money making tour of 2005, with predicted revenues topping the $250 million mark.
