Former Survivor star Jonny Fairplay’s deal with TNA recently expired. His appearance in the vignettes with Trinity, Traci Brooks and Dusty Rhodes at the Final Resolution PPV last weekend were his last scheduled appearances for the company, although he may be tapped to do publicity down the line. Fairplay signed a deal in January 2004.
Even though his contract is set to expire soon, TNA intends to continue using Sonjay Dutt in the future. Dutt is currently on tour with ZERO-ONE in Japan as is Pat Kenney.
Shark Boy is expected to return to TNA at the next Impact! taping.

TNA Executive Walt Wilson posted the following statement on the company’s official message board in regard to the crowd control issues they faced at the PPV last weekend, fan support and more:

I have been troubled by the recent events down in Florida as to crowd control and since I was there to witness some of it, steps are being made to institute more control. Please know, we are on Universal property and they are the ones who control security but we will be having a serious meeting with them this week to address some of these problems.
Which brings me to this. We want and need you to be loyal and great fans of TNA. We encourage you to be a part of the street team and help spread the word of this company. We can not do it without you. We are proud of you and talk about our community to potential sponsors, future wrestlers, our owners, etc. Which makes it difficult when we have such problems. We do not want to cut back on your privilages but only build on them. We want to build this into something really special and unique for all wrestling fans. We really NEED you to help us. Please do not cut in line, please do not rush the doors, please do not bad mouth each other. Please be a true community and work together to make this a great place to be. If you join the community, please give something back. Help us. You can do it in simple ways. Send out emails to everyone you know, touting how great TNA is and can be. Take our tools and use them to spread the message out in other sites. Help us promote our shows at school, at work, at the gym, wherever you go. We will be doing some more revised flyers in the future, but in the meantime, use what you can. If everyone one of the 7000 plus people in here convinced 5 people to buy the PPV, we would have a buy rate of over 35,000 from just your efforts alone. Imagine if you convinced 10 people or more. That would be so great.
For those who sign up only to get better access to the shows and to complain on here, instead of being an active and welcomed part of this community, we urge you to reconsider. We will be taking steps to weed out those who are absuing this privilage.
For those of you who are real fans and who help and love TNA, we thank you and really want to ultimately to meet you and thank you in person. I have met alot of you and you are all terrific. Truly, thank you for everything you have done.
Be patient because we do listen to you and we do try to make changes that you suggest.
It’s time to work together. Let’s show the other companies what TNA’s fan are made of. Let’s really give people a wrestling alternative. TNA can not do this with YOU.
