360ep TELLS THE PULSE …

On Target for Success
360ep to Represent Red-hot Web Comic Girls with Slingshots-for Licensing and Publishing Opportunities

For Immediate Release

360ep, inc., a full-service entertainment property management company, and Danielle Corsetto, the creator of Girls with Slingshots, an online web comic, jointly announced today that 360ep would represent Danielle’s wildly popular comic series for licensing and publishing opportunities.

Published online since 2004, Girls with Slingshots follows the exploits of Hazel Tellington, a headstrong, confident young woman who’s facing the gauntlet of post-adolescence living-from dead-end jobs to dating catastrophes-as she tries to make a name for herself as a writer. As Hazel achieves success and engages in life-changing adventures, it’s through her group of loyal boy buddies and gal pals that the story really unfolds.

“What impressed me most about Girls with Slingshots,” said Russ Brown, 360ep President, “Was despite its obvious feminine title, Girls never became a manifesto about female superiority or male subservience. Instead, Girls tackles stereotypical gender roles with humor and ingenuity, forcing gender to take a back seat to character development based on personality types and trends instead of meandering down a “been-there-read-that girls-are-better than-boys” path. It’s a testament to Danielle’s skills as an artist and storyteller that Girls has garnered a loyal fanbase of males and females from mid-teens to late-twenties. And because of the title’s broad online success, I believe that great things can be done for this property in the offline marketplace.”

“I’m absolutely thrilled about signing with 360ep,” said Danielle, a self-described tomboy and a graduate of Shepherd College. “I find myself getting more and more attached to the characters in Girls and I am looking forward to sharing their stories with a broader audience. I feel that 360ep will be best suited to do that for me. Because my main character Hazel and her friends are going through the same trials and tribs that both their young and old audience members are all too familiar with, I believe that Girls has the potential to make a resounding impact with its readers. This is a comic strip that anyone can relate to.”

In addition to seeking licensing and offline publishing opportunities, 360ep will add Girls with Slingshots to its HeroRealm.com web site line-up where it will soon be joined by another hot web property to be announced soon. Check out the latest Girls With Slingshots at:
