Update On Hector Garza

Archive

Hector Garza has gone back to Mexico and while there, discussed his recent legal troubles in the U.S. with El Norte. Garza claims he was unaware that the possession of steroids was a crime in the United States and that he was using the steroids to treat a leg injury. He said that if he knew bringing them into the country was a problem, he would have left them in Mexico when he traveled to the States to work a TNA Impact! taping on 1/3. Garza was flagged at George Bush International Airport upon arriving in Houston, Texas.
Garza alleged that when he was held at Harris County Jail, he was taunted by corrections officers with “Mexicans take steroids.” Garza went on to claim he was strip searched every time he was scheduled to meet with an attorney and that he was allowed to see him for only a certain amount of time. Garza purchased a plane ticket while waiting for the deportation process to take place and returned home yesterday to Mexico City.
Garza thanked Luchadores Hijo del Perro Aguayo, Latin Lover, Los Villanos, Antifaz del Norte, and Shocker for contacting him while he was incarcerated. He is scheduled to return to the ring this Friday at Arena Mexico and claimed that TNA has requested paperwork from him in order to attempt to bring him back to compete for them again in the future.
