According to WrestlingObserver.com’s Dave Meltzer, Rob Van Dam is having reconstructive knee surgery today in Birmingham, Alabama. Dr. James Andrews will be the surgeon, repairing RVD’s torn ACL, and the former WWE Intercontinental and Tag Team Champion shouuld be out of action for around six months.
Additionally, WWE announcer/part-time wrestler/Tough Enough 1 finalist Josh Matthews (real name Josh Lomberger) announced yesterday that he is engaged to long-time girlfriend and former WWE announcer Rue DeBona.
