Johnny Swinger was given his release from TNA earlier this week after waiting nearly a month after he asked for it and is apprently done with the promotion. He had requested it in the beginning of 2005 since the promotion wasn’t regularly using him. Most recently he had been working with Glen Gilberti as the NYC, which wasn’t going to be getting any kind of push as Rhodes is not apparently high on Gilberti.
